Malcolm Laycock marks the birthdays this week of bandleaders Glenn Gray, who led the very successful Casa Loma Orchestra and Si Zentner, who gained acclaim as both a player and bandleader.

Glen Gray and the Casa Loma Orchestra and Si Zentner's Band are the focus of Malcolm Laycock's attentions tonight, as both bandleaders have birthdays this week. Malcolm also looks ahead to the annual 3 day "fun fest" for the fans with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra by featuring some of their recent recordings.
