Episode 1 of 24

Horticultural tips. The team take a look at the challenges that a snowy winter has thrown at the garden, Jim returns to the vegetable plot, and Carole meets a tree doctor.

Spring is sprung,
The grass is riz,
Are you wondering where Beechgrove is...?

Does your garden have something to say? Ours certainly does!

Beechgrove is back, emerging from the depths of winter and bursting onto the screen with almost indecent spring energy.

Jim, Carole, Lesley and Carolyn start this year's series by taking a look at the challenges that snowy winter has thrown at the garden.

Jim is back in the vegetable plot, (hopefully) planting tatties and sowing carrots, while Carole has an appointment with a tree doctor about a poor eucalyptus. Is it worth saving?

George Anderson visits the inspirational Dawyck Botanic Gardens in Peeblesshire to see swathes of those heralds of spring, the snowdrop.
