This week’s See Hear takes another look at adoption, from the point of view of a deaf man who was adopted as baby in the 1970s and is now trying to contact his birth mother.
Daryl Jackson, 35, has always wondered what his birth mother is like. Does she look like him? How much do they have in common? These are questions that Daryl has asked himself since he was a boy.
Two years ago See Hear followed Daryl as he began his search for his biological mother. After a lot of hard work and dead ends he has just had a major breakthrough and things are looking good. Today's programme follows his journey over the past two years, during which he has attempted to get closer to his goal of meeting his birth mother.
