Episode 24

British Sign Language magazine series. See Hear revisits Jim'll Fix It, on which several deaf children were featured, and brings them back in front of the cameras.

If you grew up in the 70's or 80's, chances are that you spent every Saturday tea time glued to the screen as Sir Jimmy Savile made dreams come true on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's "Jim'll Fix It" show. This week, See Hear has had a good old dig around the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archives to take you back down memory lane and remember when letters starting, "Dear Jim, please can you fix it for me to….." could lead to anything from meeting your idol to taking part in the experience of a lifetime.

See Hear managed to track down four special guests who appeared on "Jim'll Fix It" in the 80's. We bring them together with our reporter Memnos to take a look at what it was that Jim fixed for them and relive the fantastic memories of their experiences on the show. We also find out what has happened to them over the years since they were awarded the famous "Jim Fixed it for Me" badge.

Of course, the star of "Jim'll Fix it" was always the man himself, the legendary Sir Jimmy Savile. With his trademark tracksuits, gold jewellery and cigar, this man got more requests from children than Santa Claus! See Hear wrote our very own "Dear Jim" letter, asking him to fix something extra special for this week's show. Did he answer? Tune in to find out!

See Hear will be back to it's normal time of 1pm on Wednesday 7th January.
