The cult sketch comedy's debut. Stars Tim Brooke-Taylor, John Cleese, David Hatch, Jo Kendall and Bill Oddie. From April 1964.

Quick-fire sketches, terrible puns, humorous songs plus TV and cinema parodies in the debut show.

Written and performed by Tim Brooke-Taylor, John Cleese, David Hatch, Jo Kendall, Bill Oddie and Anthony Buffery.

Originating from the Cambridge University Footlights revue 'Cambridge Circus', ISIRTA ran for 8 years on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio and quickly developed a cult following.

Bill, Graeme and Tim went on to become Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ TV's The Goodies and John Cleese helped found Monty Python's Flying Circus. David Hatch went on to be a producer, Controller and then Managing Director of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio. Jo Kendall later featured in The Burkiss Way.

Songs by Bill Oddie and Hugh Macdonald.
