five people who remember the drama surrounding the creation of the Channel
Tunnel. Neville Sims was then co-chairman of TML, the Anglo-French team of
contractors who built it. Graham Corbett was Chief Financial Officer of the
owners, Eurotunnel. Lord Berkeley, who as civil engineer Tony Gueterbock was
Public Affairs Manager for Eurotunnel. Helen Nattrass, senior, geotechnical
engineer, working for HTML and tunneller Graham Fagg, who broke through on the
English side to make the first contact with his French colleagues.Β
