Gianandrea Noseda conducts the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Philharmonic in a sequence in which the mood moves from light to dark and back again, beginning with Wagner through Penderecki's threnody for those who died in Hiroshima in 1945 to Beethoven's Elegiac Song.
