How do we tackle knife crime?
Graham Stewart takes your calls on knife crime following another attack at the weekend. Plus: Would you holiday in Scotland?
Another weekend, another knife attack: this time at T in the Park. It's estimated that 30 people are stabbed every week in Scotland. So is the Westminster government's plan to take offenders to meet their victims a good idea, or do we need to get tougher?
Plus: Would you holiday in Scotland?
With the cost of nipping off to the Med rising sharply, visits abroad by UK residents fell by 15 per cent last year, the fastest rate since the 1970s. What's more: the number of visitors coming to the UK also fell. Philip Riddell, Visit Scotland's Chief executive, has admitted we're not on target to meet growth increases for tourists in Scotland. Do we have the accommodation, restaurants and attractions to compete with the best? If so, where would you recommend ? Or is the dreich Scottish weather and the chance to taste something different abroad just too much?
Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
