Ken Bruce presents a special show to mark the centenary of Friday Night Is Music Night's founding conductor and one of the great names of light music - Sidney Torch.
Live from London's Mermaid Theatre, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Concert Orchestra pays tribute with some of Torch's finest arrangements, including Hungarian Rhapsody, The Desert Song, All Strings And Fancy Free, On a Spring Note, Golden Earrings and Waltzing With the Ladies.
With guests soprano Mary Hegarty, tenor Bonaventura Bottone and baritone Jonathan Gunthorpe.
