The Big Oil Debate
With oil prices at a high, should Scotland be benefiting more from her natural resources? Graham Stewart takes your calls.
With oil prices at a high, should Scotland be benefiting more from her natural resources?
All this week Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland's journalists are focusing on the high price of oil, and what this means for the industry in the North Sea. An investigation, to be screened on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Scotland tonight, has been told that the North Sea has almost as much oil left as has already been extracted. Higher prices, mean a bigger windfall, so should Scotland be benefiting more than it is? Is it, as the Nationalists used to say, "Scotland's oil"? But with tough targets on green energy, shouldn't we be doing everything we can to reduce our dependence upon oil?
Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
