The team prepare the ingredients for a perfect ratatouille, and Carole and Jim delight in the range of plants that can be grown in conservatories.
The team prepare the ingredients for a perfect ratatouille, namely the bush tomatoes that Carole sets out while Jim adds some climbing beans and climbing courgettes, all with some sweet potatoes on the side. It's also a conservatory special as Carole and Jim delight in the range of plants that can be grown in these specialised conditions.
The team deal with some of the most common conservatory pests, whitefly, mealybug and scale.
Jim also visits the Scottish Agricultural College at Craibstone near Aberdeen to see how the new garden design students have fared in their first year designing. The students have been given the ultimate challenge and that is to design and build a garden on a budget of just 25 pounds, with spectacular and inspiring results.
