Can the Gordon Brown turn his fortunes around? and Should time be called on Eurovision? Gary Robertson takes your calls.
Can the Prime Minister turn his fortunes around?
The Conservatives have achieved their first by-election gain in 26 years, taking Crewe and Nantwich from Labour. Is it all about the economy or was last night a verdict on the Prime Minister? If people can vote Tory in such great numbers in a town like Crewe, could Labour start to lose seats in its own heartlands up here? And was last night also about a resurgent Conservative Party?
Plus: Should time be called on the Eurovision Song Contest?
This year the French are singing in English whilst the Belgian entry is sung in a language specially invented for their song so as not to offend its French and Flemish speaking citizens. Meanwhile the Greeks and Cypriots had to be split up in the semi finals so they can't vote for each other. Is it a showcase for national musical talent? Or is it boring, tacky and the ultimate in bad music? And should Scotland have its own entry?
Gary Robertson takes your calls, texts and emails.
