Leading British saxophonist Courtney Pine returns to Radio 2 for another series of the Jazz Crusade, which features the very best of contemporary jazz and interviews with upcoming and established artists from the world of jazz.

There's music from Herbie Hancock, Maceo Parker and Soil and Pimp Sessions amongst others. ourtney's special guest is legendary tenor saxophonist Sonny Rollins, one of the few surviving icons from a golden era of jazz, whose contemporaries included John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Max Roach, Thelonious Monk and Art Blakey.

In Jazz Crusade Unsigned, which features the best of the UK's unsigned jazz artists, Courtney plays a track from vocalist Zoe Gilby. Plus pianist Gwilym Simcock performs his own rendition of Steve Wonder's Summer Soft.
