Mike Harding presents his usual impeccable selection of the very best in folk, roots and acoustic music. The six finalists who will contest this year's 麻豆约拍 Radio 2 Young Folk Award in December are also announced, following a selection weekend compered by Mike.

The Young Folk Award, now in its 10th year, is considered by many in acoustic and roots music to be a hothouse for emerging new talent, and there will be a guide to the finalists and a sample of their music.
