Why are so many of our young people either not in work, training or education? Gary Robertson takes your calls.
Why are so many of our young people either not in work, training or education?
35,000 of them are in effect doing nothing and, according to a report by the London school of Economics, they're costing the Scottish economy Β£1.7bn a year. So who's responsible for this wasted potential? Is it the parents not instilling their children with a strong work ethic? Perhaps our schools are failing to motivate children properly and provide them with the skills they need? Have your children struggled to find work or decent training? And why are so many out of work at a time when there are so many unfilled jobs?
Gary Robertson takes your calls, texts and emails.
