Jez Nelson presents a gig from the quartet led by one of jazz's most in-demand swing drummers, Jeff 'Tain' Watts, recorded live at London's Jazz Cafe. Alongside Tain are bassist Yunior Terry Cabrera, guitarist David Gilmour and saxophonist Marcus Strickland.

Tain's hard-swinging style invites comparison with Elvin Jones and as well as his role in Branford Marsalis's Quartet, he has played live and on record with Danilo Perez, Michael Brecker, Alice Coltrane, Greg Osby, Steve Coleman, Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Ravi Coltrane.
