Atonement
Keira Knightley and James McAvoy star in a film adaptation of Ian McEwan’s novel Atonement, directed by Joe Wright. The story centres around the character of Briony, an imaginative eleven year old who makes a false accusation which leads to grave consequences affecting those involved for the rest of their lives.

All About My Mother
The Old Vic have mounted a stage adaptation of Pedro Almodovar's Oscar-winning film All About My Mother. The adaptation is by Samuel Adamson and it stars Lesley Manville, Diana Rigg and Mark Gatiss.

All About My Mother is at the Old Vic Theatre in London until 29 November.

My Revolutions by Hari Kunzru
This novel is a departure from his previous books - which explore cultural identity and colonialism – and instead tells the story of a white middle-aged man living a comfortable family life in the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Counties who turns out to have a history of left-wing terrorism.

Alvin Ailey Dance Theater
The internationally acclaimed African-American modern dance company was founded in Upper Manhattan in 1958 by Alvin Ailey, one of the giants of American dance, and is known for its high energy, vibrant performances. This week they makes a visit to Sadlers Wells in London to present three programmes, combining popular music, gospel, jazz, modern dance and ballet.
