Episode 7 of 26

Scotland's favourite gardening programme.

Carole continues on the next stage of the calendar border - introducing some hard landscaping features, including paths and stepping stones.

There is a bewildering mountain of fertilisers for every occasion available in the garden centres, but which one do you choose and why? Lesley gives an expert guide to the best grub for plants in containers.

Jim is looking forward to early strawberries that have been cosseted in the polytunnel and shows off his already cropping mini-veg.

Elma and Tony Johnson in Annan have been left with a bit of a challenge- after building a new house, the builders left them with a completely gravel covered "garden" with an underlying layer of hardcore. George Anderson decides that the only way to tackle this is to make planting pockets in the hardcore and in this way creates the garden that Elma and Tony dreamed of.
