David Jacobs concludes the series about Hollywood lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman. Barbra Streisand and director Norman Jewison consider the pair's political satire.

This series, first broadcast in the Spring of 2001, tells the story of the husband and wife song-writing team of Alan and Marilyn Bergman.
Featuring a specially recorded in-depth interview with the lyricists, 'Keep The Music Playing' includes contributions from Johnny Mathis, film director Norman Jewison, composer Marvin Hamlisch, Sir Tim Rice and the Bergmans' close friend and long-time associate Barbra Streisand.
The series examines what has kept the song-writing duo together - and at the top of their game - for over 50 years and includes the stories behind some of their greatest the hits.
With over 50 years of hits to their name, the Bergmans hold a unique place in the song-writing hall of fame. This final programme considers Marilyn's work for the writers' organisation ASCAP in America, the Bergman's involvement with Barbra Streisand's 'One Voice' concert recorded at her home in 1986, and why having Barbra recording a Bergman song is both a blessing and a curse.
Contributors include: Sir Tim Rice, Barbra Streisand, Marvin Hamlisch, film director Norman Jewison, and Alan & Marilyn Bergman.
Featured songs include: 'What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life?' performed by Frank Sinatra and Streisand's 'Ordinary Miracles'.
The series is written and produced by Malcolm Prince.
