In the Beechgrove Garden, Jim is creating a new garden, he has called it the June garden and it will be full of plants that flower at this time of the year. Inspiration for the garden comes from the space that families often have in their garden around old clothes poles.
The Royal Horticultural Society have recently completed a study that indicates that we as a nation have been neglecting our front gardens in preference to paving, parking and gravel, and in doing so, taking away the vital "green lung" of towns and cities.
