Gerard Woodward was Booker nominated for I'll Go To Bed At Noon, the second volume in his trilogy about the dysfunctional Jones family. He's now written the last book which concentrates on the father, Aldous Jones, living alone in a ramshackle house where the cupboards sprout potatoes. His life is transformed after he suffers a fall.
