By Daniel Tammet, read by Paul Panting.

Daniel sees numbers as shapes, colours and textures and can perform extraordinary maths in his head; he can also learn to speak a language fluently from scratch in a week. Daniel has Savant Syndrome, a rare form of Asperger's. He also has a compulsive need for order and routine.

Daniel is virtually unique among people with an autistic spectrum disorder in having a high degree of self awareness which he has used to communicate his touching and heart-warming story.
