This leg takes him from the most northwesterly point of the British mainland, Cape Wrath, to Wick near John O'Groats. He joins the crew of the Stornoway coastguard and feels the full impact of the storms that hit the Hebrides.
Neil Oliver travels with WW2 veterans to Scapa Flow in Orkney where the Royal Oak naval tragedy is still commemorated and finds out the lasting impact of the notorious Highland Clearances.
