Hosted by Paddy McGuinness, I Can See Your Voice is a mystery singing gameshow. Paddy is joined by Celebrity Investigators - Jimmy Carr, Alison Hammond and Amanda Holden - and each week a guest music star joins the celebrity panel.

It’s the show that proves when it comes to singing talent, what you see isn’t always what you get!

The Celebrity Investigators will attempt to help the team of two players, tell the difference between the good and bad mystery singers, without ever hearing them sing a note. With £10,000 on the line, the players will attempt to weed out the bad singers. In the end, the last singer standing will reveal if they are a good or a bad singer in a duet with the guest music star. If the players pick a good singer they win the money, but if a bad singer manages to fake it all the way to the end, they steal the prize.

As the players try to work out the clues they need to remember one simple rule. Everything the good singers say is true, and the bad singers can tell a few lies to make everyone believe they can sing.

In this round we meet the six mystery singers for the first time. We also find out some clues about each of them through shots of them outside the studio. In this first round each singer takes to the stage individually to mime to a song.

The good singers will lip sync to their own voice. The bad singers will lip sync to someone else’s lovely voice.

Once all singers have performed, the players must choose one singer to eliminate. But with the bad singers in with a chance of stealing the prize, the players will have to weigh up all the evidence so far.

Each time a singer is eliminated by the players, they take to the Stage of Truth to reveal their voice. Are they a good or a bad singer?

If they are a bad singer, that's great news for the players as they are one step closer to winning the cash, but if they are a good singer, that's terrible for the players.

There are five Stage of Truth moments in every episode. Neither Paddy nor any of the celebrity investigators know how many good or bad singers there are at any stage, so the players need to watch the singers very closely.

Five singers remain. The players must choose two singers that they want to find out more about. For each singer chosen, a profile video containing clues about them - including photos and an interview - will be shown. All photos shown of the chosen singers are real photos of them - whether they are a good or a bad singer.

As before, everything the good singers say is true. The bad singers will be telling a few lies to make everyone believe they can sing.

At the end of this round the players must choose one singer to eliminate. Once they have been eliminated, the singer must take to the Stage of Truth to reveal their voice.

Four singers remain. The players must choose to look further into the life of one of the remaining mystery singers in order to find out some more clues about them. The players can choose to see one 麻豆约拍 Truths VT, but they must then eliminate two singers based on everything they have learned so far at the end of this round.

The 麻豆约拍 Truths VT will contain further clues about the chosen singer. The short films are self-shot and filmed in the singer's own home, and reveal more about their life.

As before, everything the good singers say is true. The bad singers will be telling a few lies to make everyone believe they can sing.

At the end of this round, the players must choose two singers to eliminate. Once they have been eliminated, the singers must take to the Stage of Truth to reveal their voice.

Two singers remain. The players must choose one singer to interrogate. They must pick wisely as this is their final chance to find out if they are a good or bad singer.

The players have 30 seconds to interrogate the singer. On the screen in front of the players is a list of 15 questions. The players can ask any of the 15 questions within the 30 second time limit. As with previous rounds, the bad singers can tell a few fibs to make everyone believe they can sing.

At the end of this round the players must decide which singer to eliminate, meaning the other singer will perform a duet with the guest music star.

The last singer standing will perform a duet with the guest music star. If they are a good singer the players will win £10,000, but if they are bad, the bad singer will have fooled everyone and will steal the money.

• This series was filmed under Industry COVID regulations. As a result, a small audience was permitted in studio to watch and play along by watching on monitors. Their genuine reactions recorded on the night, were mixed with augmented audience reactions and applause in line with some other shows of similar scale on TV in the UK.
