Accessibility at the Proms

Tickets and discounts for disabled concert-goers
All disabled concert-goers (and one companion) receive a 50% discount on all ticket prices for all Proms concerts.

Wheelchair access at the Proms
Throughout the Proms season at the Royal Albert Hall, 12 spaces will be available to book for wheelchair-users and companions on a designated wheelchair platform situated in front of Loggia Boxes 31–33. Depending on the Prom, between 18 and 25 additional spaces for wheelchair-users and companions will be available in the Stalls and the Circle.

Public lifts are located at Doors 1 and 8.
All bars and restaurants are wheelchair-accessible.
Transfer wheelchairs are available for customer use. The Royal Albert Hall has busy corridors and therefore visitors using mobility scooters are asked to enter via Door 3 or Door 8 and will be offered a transfer wheelchair on arrival.
Mobility scooters can be stored in designated places. The Hall is unable to offer charging facilities for scooters.
To request any of the above services, call the Access Information Line or complete an accessibility request form online at royalalberthall.com 48 hours before you attend. Alternatively you can make a request upon arrival at the Information Desk at Door 6, subject to availability.
Last Night of the Proms
If you require a wheelchair space for the Last Night, you will still need to book for five other concerts, but you must phone the Access Information Line (020 7070 4410) before 5.00pm on Thursday 6 June to enter the separate ballot for wheelchair spaces.
Promming
The Gallery can accommodate up to four wheelchair-users.
On arrival at the Royal Albert Hall, ask a steward (on duty from 9.00am) for assistance.
Wheelchair-users will be issued a queue number and can leave and return in time for doors opening, at which point all Prommers will enter in queue order.
Please note that the Arena is not accessible to wheelchair-users.

Car parking
A limited number of car parking spaces close to the Hall can be reserved by disabled concert-goers; contact the Access Information Line to book.
Ramped venue access is available at Doors 1, 3, 8, 9 and 12. The most convenient set-down point for vehicle arrival is near Door 3.
Guide Dogs at the Proms
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome and can be easily accommodated in the boxes. If you prefer to sit elsewhere, call the Access Information Line for advice: 020 7070 4410 (9am - 5pm daily).
The Royal Albert Hall stewards will be happy to look after your dog while you enjoy the concert.
BSL-interpreted Proms
Five Proms will be British Sign Language-interpreted. Please see below:

Relaxed Performances
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Proms relaxed performances (Proms 11, 12 & 22) are designed to suit individuals or groups who feel more comfortable attending concerts in a relaxed environment.
There is a relaxed attitude to noise and audience members are free to leave and re-enter the auditorium at any point.
There will be chill-out areas, where spaces are made for anyone needing a bit of quiet time before or during the performance. For full details, visit bbc.co.uk/proms.

Assisted listening service
The Royal Albert Hall is equipped with a digital assisted listening system, delivering high-quality, reliable and interference-free audio to every seat in the auditorium.
Receiver packs and headphones are available from the Door 6 Information Desk.
Customers are also welcome to use their own headphones (3.5mm minijack required).

Large-print concert programmes can be purchased on the night (at the same price as standard programmes), if ordered at least five working days in advance.
Large-print sung texts and librettos (where applicable) are available with the purchase of a standard programme, if ordered at least five working days in advance. This excludes surtitled Proms, for which librettos are not printed.
