Who in your community has made a difference this year?

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Lincolnshire Make a Difference Awards 2020 are now open for you nominations. We have five categories designed to celebrate Lincolnshire people who've gone the extra mile during an unusual year.

Winners will be announced in Spring 2021.

Categories

  • Inspiring Young Person of the Year 2020 – awarded to anyone aged 11 - 25 who is an inspiration to both young and old, either by going out of their way to help the community during the Coronavirus pandemic, or by achieving success through hard work and commitment.

  • Uniform Hero 2020 – presented to a member or team of emergency services personnel, NHS staff, front line key workers or the Armed Forces for commitment to their profession.

  • Green Champion 2020 – a voluntary group or individual who have had a positive environmental impact on the community where they live.

  • Good Neighbour of the Year 2020 – awarded to an individual or organisation that helps make their community a better place to live or work, either on a regular basis or through an act of kindness during the challenges of Coronavirus.

  • Fur’ ever Friend of the Year 2020 – an individual or group who goes out of their way to care for animals.

In addition "The Yellowbelly Award" will be presented to the overall winner who scores the highest marks out of the five category winners.

You will need to get your nominations to us before 12 noon on Monday, 31 December 2020.
