About Gŵyl 2021
The current global pandemic has had a significant impact on major events across Wales. When it became clear that their own live events could not proceed as planned in 2020, Festival of Voice (WMC), FOCUS Wales, Other Voices Cardigan (Mwldan) and Aberystwyth Comedy Festival (Little Wander) joined forces with Â鶹ԼÅÄ Cymru Wales to create a signature, digital event for Wales: Gŵyl 2021. The festival is a unique partnership between each individual event, bringing together audiences, artists and industry across Wales to celebrate creativity and connect and share ideas amidst the current uncertainty. Produced by each of the partners, curated and broadcast as part of the Â鶹ԼÅÄ’s Culture in Quarantine initiative across the weekend of 6-7 March 2021.
