"Candy Cane Amphibian"
The Muppet Christmas Carol - Taron can't resist Kermit and co's 1992 retelling of Dicken's Victorian tale.

"Angel Saves George"
It's A Wonderful Life - it's Frank Capra's 1946 film starring James Stewart, essential viewing every year.
Saoirse Ronan
The movie star talked to Stig Abell about her latest, Little Women, and while she was here she dropped this clue to her favourite:
"Frankly My Dear"
Gone with the Wind - perhaps not an obvious Christmas movie, but the one Saoirse would most like to enjoy with a mince pie.
Stig Abell
Stig's film has asserted its place in the list of Christmas classics over the years, but what is it?
"Yippee Ki Yay"
Die Hard - yep, Stig loves the Bruce Willis action film set at Christmas. And no, we can't say the dialogue that follows his three word clue.

The folk singer clearly loves this time of year - she released her fifth Christmas album this year. But what film did she give this clue to?
"Dudley Breaks Sleigh"
Santa Claus: The Movie - it's the 1985 film with the diminutive Dudley Moore as one of Santa's elves.

"Looking For Daddy"
Elf - it's 2003 Christmas comedy with Will Ferrell as the titular outsize elf.
Tom Hanks

A Christmas Carol - as the clue suggests, Tom's choice was the 1951 black and white version of the Charles Dickens story directed by Brian Desmond Hurst with Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge, originally released in Britain as Scrooge.
Samira Ahmed
And finally, Samira's choice is perhaps the least festive of the lot, but it's nonetheless a marvel. Here's her three word clue:
