Captain Tom's Birthday Salute
Over the last week thousands of people have been taking photos of themselves and their families saluting Captain Tom Moore, the war veteran who raised millions for the NHS by walking laps of his garden.
From shop workers, army cadets, navy sailors, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ radio presenters and producers, families, builders, teachers and lots of dogs – everyone has been uploading their photo to make an enormous 100th birthday mosaic.
In June 2020, once social distancing restrictions allowed, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ presented Captain Tom with a framed print of the mosaic.
