Comprising some of the country’s best-loved and most beautiful countryside, on 24 July 2002 the was officially opened by Princess Anne.

Scotland’s first national park, it is home to stunning, diverse countryside that includes lochs, mountains, islands, and forest. Unsurprisingly, it is the nation’s most popular countryside destination and very year it plays host to around four million visitors.
