Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode celebrate a decade of their hugely popular Film Review on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 Live with special shows marking 10 years of the wittiest, rantiest and most authoritative movie reviews and comment in the industry.

The multi Sony Award-winning pair jointly won the Speech Gold Award in 2009 and Mark won best Specialist Contributor for his 5 Live role in 2010. Simon also won Sony speech broadcaster of the year for his 5 Live show in 2008.

In June, a film review-inspired concert celebrating great moments in film music will feature the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Philharmonic Orchestra performing iconic film scores.

You can watch the two broadcasts on May 27 and June 10 which will be filmed and live streamed on the 5 Live website. Highlights from the 5 Live and Radio 3 programmes will be available on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Red Button from Monday 13 June.

On Friday 27 May the Film Review will celebrate a decade on Radio 5 Live with a triumphant return to Mark Kermode's youthful haunt and favourite cinema in the world; East Finchley's Phoenix Cinema, with a live audience and special guest, Noel Clarke, the celebrated actor and producer of the films Kidulthood and Adulthood.

On Monday 30 May, film actor and Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville takes a look back at the funniest and most entertaining moments from 10 years of Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo's weekly movie reviews on 5 Live. Simon and Mark's partnership reviewing film stretches back some 20 years to Simon's Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1 show in the early Nineties.

When Simon joined Radio 5 Live in May 2001, Mark joined him for the film reviews which soon became a staple of Mayo's afternoon weekday 5 Live programme. Mark opened his review with the words: "And another thing... " and the seamless transition from Radio 1 was complete. Last year, the film review show was given its own space and doubled in length to two hours every Friday from 2-4pm on Radio 5 Live.

On Friday 3 June a special edition of the Film Review will feature some famous fans who've become "friends" of the programme over the years. Simon and Mark will interview Stephen Fry; Bourne series director Paul Greengrass will be live in the studio; and the show will also hear from Jason Isaacs and Michael Sheen, among others.

On Friday 10 June Simon and Mark will host a special edition of the Film Review live from 5 Live's new home in Media City Salford. Mark and Simon's "guests" will be the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Philharmonic Orchestra, who will play extracts from some of the greatest film scores of all time. To help finalise the running order, listeners have been asked to choose in a text vote between Jaws and Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

The winning score will be played by the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Philharmonic on Friday 10 June 2011, which will be covered on Kermode and Mayo's Film Review.

Later that evening Mark Kermode hosts a special Live In Concert for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 3 when the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Orchestra will perform more iconic movie music plus longer versions of the music heard on Radio 5 Live that afternoon.
