Ahead of the second series of Limmy's Show! on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two Scotland, an exclusive online feature has been posted to give fans a taste of what's coming up andΒ the inside track on making the six new episodes.

Limmy's Show! is written, performed, directed and animated by one of Scotland's most original comedy minds, Brian Limond. Brian gives an unique insight into the filming of the new series in the interview which you can hear by going to .

The online feature also includes which begins its run on Thursday 17 February, at 10pm on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two Scotland.

Brian said: "I'm really excited about the new series. It's a new cast, new kind of writing and new kind of direction."

Packed with fast-paced sketches, favourite faces, new characters, impressive visuals and animations plus Limmy's unique observations on the world, the second series will be a treat for Limmy fans and new viewers alike.

For the second series of Limmy's Show! there are more characters, effects and sketches in every episode. Limmy achieves all this while staying true to the style of comedy inspired by the videos, virals and playthings he developed on his website and his World of Glasgow podcasts.

In episode one, we welcome the return of phone-in host Falconhoof as he introduces his new sidekick. Zoned-out waster Dee Dee is back in his living room and preparing to blast off into space. We get acquainted with new characters including the 1950s drug experimenter Larry Forsyth who, this week, tries 'Moonbeam'. There's the psychic medium Raymond Day who brings news from the other side that not everyone wants to hear and the animated Major Boo Boo who makes a design faux pas.

Adding to the character pieces are more of Limmy's observations on life plus stand-alone sketches.

Following a successful pilot, the first series was broadcast on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two Scotland in early 2010 and became a trending topic two weeks in a row on social network website Twitter.

It earned praise from fans, not only in Scotland but all over the UK, including writer Graham Linehan, writer/performer Peter Serafinowicz, musician Calvin Harris and writer/performer Matt Lucas.

Brian Limond plays the main characters and he is supported by Paul McCole, Alan McHugh and Kirstin McLean who play a wide range of characters and roles.
