Award-winning Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Films today announces new projects from Armando Iannucci, Peter Morgan and Abi Morgan, as part of its continuing commitment to bringing British audiences a broad range of distinctive films.

After being Oscar and BAFTA nominated for his hit, critically acclaimed political satire In The Loop, director Armando Iannucci teams up again with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Films for his next project, the comedy Out The Window, scripted by Iannucci with Will Smith and Roger Drew.

Award-winning screenwriter Peter Morgan, who recently collaborated with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Films on his tale of legendary football manager Brian Clough, The Damned United, returns with his new project Three Sixty; a multi-stranded tale of love and sexual obsession.

The little-known story of Charles Dickens's relationship with young actress Nelly Ternan is brought to life by screenwriter Abi Morgan (Brick Lane), in her adaptation of Claire Tomalin's award-winning biography The Invisible Woman. A moving and passionate account of the hidden life of Victorian England's most iconic author, The Invisible Woman is produced by Stewart Mackinnon at Headline Pictures.

And at Cannes this year, out of competition, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Films is presenting a gloriously wicked comedy about modern life in Britain – Stephen Frears's Tamara Drewe. Moira Buffini's sparkling adaptation of Posy Simmonds's graphic novel tells the tale of a once shy, ugly teenager who reinvents herself as a smouldering femme fatale. Gemma Arterton, Luke Evans, Dominic Cooper, Roger Allam and Tamsin Greig star in this ensemble piece. Ruby Films produces a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Films development. WestEnd Films is selling the film internationally.

Now in pre-production:

Michelle Williams is set to star in My Week With Marilyn, written by Adrian Hodges, directed by Simon Curtis and produced by David Parfitt. The film is a compassionate comedy about Colin Clark's intoxicating secret week with the most famous woman on earth, Marilyn Monroe, while she was in London in 1956 being directed by Laurence Olivier in The Prince And The Showgirl. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Films is in final negotiations with The Weinstein Company to finance.

Rebecca Hall, Imelda Staunton and Dominic West star in The Awakening, a classic ghost story in the tradition of MR James. Stephen Volk has written the screenplay with Nick Murphy, who also directs, and the film is produced by David Thompson. Studio Canal handles international sales.

Based on the best-selling novel by Paul Torday, Salmon Fishing In The Yemen will be directed by Oscar-nominated Lasse Hallström and star Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt and Kristin Scott Thomas. Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy has adapted this charming romantic comedy of unexpected heroism and late-blooming love. Paul Webster is producing and Lionsgate International is handling worldwide sales.

Also in development:

Quartet, Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut, written by Oscar-winner Ronnie Harwood, stars Dame Maggie Smith, Albert Finney and Tom Courtenay. The comedy, being produced by Finola Dwyer and Stewart Mackinnon, follows events that culminate in the one-off reunion concert of a once world-famous foursome of opera singers. HanWay is selling internationally.

Stephen Fry co-writes and directs Hallelujah!, a thrilling recreation of the build-up to the first performance of Handel's Messiah, the most famous choral work ever created. Produced by Gina Carter.

Ovett And Coe charts the epic story of the intense rivalry between athletes Steve Ovett and Sebastian Coe, from their triumphs in Moscow in 1980 to the final showdown at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984. Will Davies adapts from Pat Butcher's gripping book The Perfect Distance. Joanna Anderson and Vicky Licorish of AL Films will produce.

We Need To Talk About Kevin, Lynne Ramsay's new film, is adapted by Ramsay and Rory Kinnear from Lionel Shriver's best-selling novel. The film tells the tale of Kevin (Ezra Miller) who, two days before his 16th birthday, goes on a horrific rampage. Tilda Swinton plays Kevin's tormented mother Eva, who has to confront the ultimate taboo – did she ever love her son? And how much of what Kevin did is her fault? John C Reilly also stars. We Need To Talk About Kevin is currently shooting on location in Connecticut.

Rising talents Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender star in Jane Eyre, a fresh, modern re-telling of the classic Charlotte BrontΓ« novel brought to the screen by writer Moira Buffini and highly acclaimed director Cary Fukunaga.

In post-production:

First-time director Debs Gardner-Paterson presents Rhidian Brook's charming comic tale Africa United. Three Rwandan children walk 3,000 miles to fulfil their dream of playing in the opening ceremony of the World Cup. PathΓ© International has taken on international sales.

Coriolanus, Ralph Fiennes' directorial debut, is a visceral contemporary version of Shakespeare's dangerous political thriller. Written by John Logan, the film stars Fiennes, Gerard Butler, Vanessa Redgrave, Brian Cox and James Nesbitt, and is being produced by Colin Vaines, Julia Taylor-Stanley, Gabrielle Tana and Ralph Fiennes. Icon Entertainment is handling international sales.

Ann Peacock, who adapted The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, has written the screenplay for First Grader, directed by Justin Chadwick, following his debut film The Other Boleyn Girl. Naomie Harris and Oliver Litondo star in this charming story of an 84-year-old Mau Mau veteran who demands the right to an education by turning up to an elementary school.

West Is West is Ayub Khan Din's follow-up to the internationally acclaimed East Is East, directed by Andy de Emmony. West Is West is a coming of age story for both 15-year-old Sajid and his father, 60-year-old George 'Ghengis' Khan, starring Om Puri, Linda Bassett and Aquib Khan.

Ewan McGregor, Eva Green and Ewen Bremner star in Last Word, an epic love story written by Kim Fupz Aakeson and directed by David Mackenzie, telling the story of two people who fall in love as the world begins to fall apart.

Adapted from Graham Greene's brilliant 1939 novel, Brighton Rock charts the fall of a disadvantaged teenager with a religious death wish, starring Helen Mirren, Sam Riley and Andrea Riseborough.

Set in 1968, Nigel Cole's Made In Dagenham dramatises the true story of the female workers from Ford who managed, with the help of political firebrand Barbara Castle, to overturn an age-old hypocrisy in their fight for equal pay. Sally Hawkins, Bob Hoskins, Miranda Richardson, Rosamund Pike, Daniel Mays, Andrea Riseborough and Jaime Winstone take starring roles. Made In Dagenham is written by Billy Ivory and produced by Liz Karlsen and Stephen Woolley at Number 9 Films, and is due for release this October.

Sparks fly as the world of street dance and ballet collide in StreetDance 3D, Britain's first movie to be shot in 3D. Charlotte Rampling heads a diverse cast featuring new talent Nichola Burley (Kicks, Love + Hate), dancer Richard Winsor (Edward Scissorhands and Dorian Gray at Sadler's Wells) as well as Britain's Got Talent finalists Flawless, George Sampson and Diversity. Streetdance 3D is in UK cinemas from 21 May.
