The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ is delighted to announce that Nigella Lawson, the home-cooking heroine, is to return to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two this autumn with a dazzling new series, Nigella Kitchen. This 13-part series will show Nigella cooking food for modern living, whatever the situation, at her studio kitchen, at her home and other locations.

The series will include a mixture of easy, fast and fabulous recipes to beat the clock at the end of the day, and more leisurely recipes to unwind with over relaxing weekends. As well as creating delicious dishes for greedy days, Nigella will also show viewers inspired recipes to make with leftovers. It's all about real food for real people.

She will also share tips, strategies and culinary secrets, underpinned by her kitchen mantra: "maximum flavour for minimum effort".

In her witty, engaging and conversational trademark style, Nigella will talk her audience through the cooking process, and show them how to create the perfect mood to enjoy every mouthful.

She will reveal how she finds ideas for her recipes and visits the shops, markets and restaurants that inspire her. She'll be throwing open the doors to her pantry, drinks cabinet and extensive library, and everyone is invited.

Through the course of the series, Nigella will also share with the viewers the kitchen gadgets she has bought over the years, revealing those she can't live without and those that have been bought late at night on the internet and are now gathering dust.

Her previous series, Nigella Express, regularly attracted more than three million viewers, won several prestigious awards and was nominated for two Daytime Emmy awards.

Nigella: Kitchen is Executive Produced by Rachel Purnell for Pacific and Lisa Edwards for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ. It is co-produced by Pacific and Nigella's own production company, Pabulum.
