The XIX Commonwealth Games will be broadcast live and exclusively on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ this coming autumn following an agreement between the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee.
The Games, which are to be held this year in Delhi, India between 3 and 14 October, will be available across TV, radio, online, iPlayer, mobile and new media outlets across the UK.
ΜύΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sport Head of Major Events Dave Gordon said: "We're delighted to have exclusive rights for the UK to broadcast this year's Commonwealth Games, the first ever to be hosted in India. The Games mark another step for athletes across the world as they prepare for the 2012 Olympics in London. We have a rich history of covering the Commonwealth Games and are looking forward to bringing the best of the action to the UK public."
Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman of the Delhi 2010 Organising Committee, said: "We are delighted to reach an agreement with the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ for extensive coverage of our Games across the whole of the UK."
