Tribute has been paid to comedy director Gareth Carrivick who has died.

Jon Plowman, Executive Producer for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Comedy, who worked with Gareth on numerous projects, says: "Gareth was one of the best there was, with a fine understanding and respect for talent of all kinds, both on and off screen.

He was warm, funny and generous to all who worked with him. He is a huge loss, whose humour and friendship will be sadly missed. It is a very sad day for us all and our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time."
