Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1 is offering listeners a unique treat this festive season – an opportunity to take over the airwaves on Christmas Day in its special Tinsel Takeover!
Twenty-four lucky listeners will win the chance to present a 15-minute slot on the world-famous radio station as six hours of broadcasting are handed over to its audience.
Radio 1's Greg James launched Tinsel Takeover on his lunchtime show this week and he'll be selecting the listeners who will get the chance to step into the shoes of the likes of Chris Moyles and Fearne Cotton.
Greg is presenting Radio 1's Christmas Day Breakfast Show live from 6.00 to 10.00am, and he'll then handover to the listener line-up for their 15 minutes of fame.
Each listener will select a track from the playlist, play a festive tune and pick a song of their choice.
Greg says: "We always like to try new things out on Radio 1 and this is a biggie – handing over six hours to our audience!
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 24 listeners to present on the station and I can't wait to select the lucky winners."

Entrants need to register and give reasons as to why they should get a Tinsel Takeover presenting slot on Radio 1.
The 15-minute slots will be pre-recorded.
