Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Bristol today announced the award-winning presenter Steve le Fevre as its new Breakfast presenter.
The well-known radio and TV presenter will take over from Richard Wyatt at the beginning of August.
Steve has presented daytime programmes on the ITV network and nationally on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 Live, as well as covering Drivetime on Radio Bristol.
Tim Pemberton, Managing Editor, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Bristol, said: "Steve is great news for the station.
"He is an excellent broadcaster who has seen a lot of life in his varied career and is keen to meet, and enjoy sharing the morning, with the people of the West."
Steve, who will be moving to the Bristol area with his family, said: "I can't wait to get going and to start meeting people.
"It's such a vibrant place with so much to see and do that I'm really looking forward to reflecting this on the programme daily."
Steve is a Sony Gold award winner for his presentation style and programmes, and is no stranger to the small hours, having presented the Early Show for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Ulster and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leeds, and Late Night Live for Radio 5 Live.
Current Breakfast host Richard Wyatt is relocating to Devon but will continue his connection to the area as a doctoral student at Bristol University.
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Bristol's Breakfast programme is broadcast Monday to Friday on 94.9, 104.6 and 103.6 FM across Bristol, Bath, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
