On Saturday 11 July, with the first Ashes Test in progress, Gethin will present a show from his home city Cardiff.

Gethin Jones said: "I can't wait to get back into the Saturday morning hot seat on 5 Live. It's another fantastic summer of sport, from Wimbledon to the Ashes to the Lions. I will be reflecting on that, as well as having lots of good guests from the world of music and entertainment. I hope everyone will tune in for the sound of the summer!"

Radio 5 Live Controller Adrian Van Klaveren said: "I'm delighted to have Gethin back on Radio 5 Live. He brings a freshness and excitement to his show on Saturday mornings, he's a real sports fan and I know it'll be a great show to greet the key sporting weekends throughout the summer."
