Recently retired former England captain and World Cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio joins as a member of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Television's core team of pundits for this year's RBS Six Nations.

Dallaglio made his Six Nations broadcasting debut last year, also featuring as a pitchside analyst and commentator for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ during the 2008 autumn internationals.

He will be joined by former France captain and multiple Grand Slam winner Raphael Ibanez, who will offer a Gallic perspective on all of France's games, and former Wales captain Colin Charvis for some Wales' matches.

They join the current line-up of studio analysts – Jonathan Davies, Jeremy Guscott, Andy Nicol and Keith Wood.

Austin Healey returns to what he knows best, having missed the 2008 autumn internationals which clashed with his successful stint on Strictly Come Dancing. Healey will be offering his own shrewd analysis on the game's main talking points, throughout the match, from the stands.

John Inverdale will be the main host and will be joined by fellow presenters Gabby Logan and Jill Douglas.

Commentators will be Eddie Butler, Nick Mullins and Andrew Cotter, with Brian Moore, Jonathan Davies, Philip Matthews and Andy Nicol as co-commentators.

Pitchside reporting team Sonja McLaughlan and Graham Thomas will be joined this year by Dan Walker.

Every game of the tournament will be shown live on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Television, kicking off with a one-hour build-up on the opening weekend ahead of the England v Italy fixture.

The coverage will include all England, Wales and Scotland home games available in high definition for viewers with HD-enabled televisions. Every match, apart from Italy v Ireland (15 February) and France v Wales (27 February), is on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One, with all matches available on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ iPlayer for up to a week after the live fixture.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 Live will carry all five England games live as well as the France v Wales and Wales v Ireland games.

Two matches will be live on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 5 Live Sports Extra with reports on the remaining games on Radio 5 Live.

Ian Robertson continues to head up the team with seasoned partners Iain Carter, Alastair Eykyn, Conor McNamara and Jonny Saunders.

The 5 Live commentary team are joined by a panel of expert summarisers from across the British Isles.

World Cup winning scrum-half Matt Dawson will be giving his expert opinion on all England games while former Wales captain Rob Jones will be on hand for the Welsh matches. Gavin Hastings and Brian Redpath will provide analysis on the Scottish team and former Irish fullback Hugo MacNeill will use his expertise to discuss Ireland.

Matt Dawson will also present Six Nations Rugby Special on 5 Live. He will be joined by guests for the all the latest Six Nations news, reports and analysis.

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sport website will carry a live simulcast of each game, and highlights will be available on demand after matches. Live text updates will be on the website and are also available to mobile phones.

There will be live audio from Radio 5 Live and statistics will update as matches go on. There will be a unique opportunity to put questions to player pundits from each nation and gain their view from in the camp. The site will also carry rugby tips, tactics, and skills in a series of masterclasses.

There's a squad selector where you can pick your own team, and an opportunity to play your own Six Nations where you can kick, pass, score tries and take part in line-outs from the comfort of your desk.

In 2008, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ television audiences to the Six Nations were again consistently high, with an average of 4.2 million watching each match. The highest peak audience was 8.2 million for the England v Wales match
