Richard Madeley guests on Radio 5 Live

Richard Madeley, one half of acclaimed daytime television couple Richard and Judy, will present three programmes on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 Live between Tuesday 20 and Thursday 22 January 2009.

Madeley, who started his broadcasting career as a news producer and presenter at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cumbria, will stand-in for Richard Bacon while he is away, hosting the evening phone-in on the day's topical issues.

Richard Madeley says: "I've always hugely enjoyed contributing and listening to 5 Live and I'll get a real kick out of guesting on it for a few days. We're going to have some fun."

His stint on 5 Live came about following his guest appearance on Simon Mayo's afternoon programme earlier this year.
