David Holdsworth is new English Regions Controller

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ has named David Holdsworth as the new Controller of English Regions.

Formerly Deputy Controller, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ English Regions and the Head of Regional & Local Programmes for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ West Midlands, Holdsworth has been Acting Controller since September this year and takes up his appointment immediately.

As Controller English Regions, David will be responsible for 12 regional television centres, producing daily news programmes and bulletins, the regular current affairs series Inside Out, the politics programme opts in Sunday's The Politics Show and other landmark and special regional programming.

David is also responsible for 40 local radio stations and a network of 44 Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Local websites.
