Ruth Jones' tortoise stars in TV trail
Ruth Jones' pet tortoise, Tom, whose recent near-death experience made headline news, is to star in a new µώµώ°δΜύ°Β²Ή±τ±π²υ TV trail.

Tom, 55, who was saved from death in a glass crusher last month by workers at a Cardiff refuse plant after crawling into the domestic recycling, will make his small screen debut to promote his famous owner's new 12-week show on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔΜύRadioΜύWales.

The BAFTA-award winning actress and writer – best known as Nessa in the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ hit show Gavin And Stacey which she co-created with James Corden – will kick off the first Ruth Jones' Sunday Brunch programme on Radio Wales on Sunday 5 October.

The promotional trail – which will run on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Wales and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two Wales from Monday evening – features Ruth sitting in the kitchen reading a letter from Radio Wales offering her a weekly Sunday morning show on the station.

Every week listeners will be treated to a mixture of celebrity guests and callers, chat and comedy as part of the two-hour show.
