Radio Ulster remains Northern Ireland's most listened to radio station


Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Ulster remains the number one listened to radio station in Northern Ireland with an average weekly audience of 539,000 listeners tuning in each week, according to the latest RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research Ltd) figures released today.

According to the figures for Quarter 1 2008, the station is enjoying an increased weekly audience of 2,000 listeners from the same time last year (Quarter 1 2007: 537,000) and an increase of 29,000 listeners from the last RAJAR figures (Quarter 4 2007: 510,000).

The Stephen Nolan Show with 134,000 listeners

Talk Back with 92,000 listeners

Good Morning Ulster with 88,000 listeners

Gerry Anderson with 85,000 listeners

Hugo Duncan with 77,000 listeners

Weekends on Radio Ulster also attracted a high level of listeners.

On Saturdays, Your Place And Mine attracted 81,000 listeners and Gardener's Corner also attracted 81,000 listeners.

On Sundays, Sunday Sequence had a weekly average of 88,000 listeners while Brian D'Arcy attracted 83,000 listeners.
