Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's first FM radio partnership in Rwanda

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ has secured its first FM partnership in Rwanda with Radio
10 meaning even more listeners can listen to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ programmes in FM
quality sound.

Radio 10 will broadcast Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World Service programming in French, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi and Swahili.

Radio 10 will broadcast Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Great Lakes weekday news programme Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ
Gahuzamiryango at 16.00 GMT.

On Saturdays audiences can listen to Imvo n'imvano at 05.00 GMT.

French-speaking audiences can tune
into Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Afrique's daily news and current affairs programmes, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ
Matin at 04.30 GMT and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Soir at 18.00 GMT.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Swahili broadcasts will include its flagship morning programme Amka Na Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ,
news and current affairs programme Dira Ya Dunia and a round-up of
the big news stories from across the continent in Leo Afrika.

The new partnership with Radio 10 complements the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's already
strong FM presence in the country which includes Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 93.9 FM in
Kigali, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 93.3 FM in Karongi and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 106.1 FM in Butare.

together" – provides two daily 30-minute programmes in
Kinyarwanda/Kirundi for a massive audience in Rwanda, Burundi and
neighbouring countries.

Urunana has been broadcast on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Great Lakes service and re-broadcast by Radio Rwanda since 1999. Aimed at improving the
sexual and reproductive health of rural women, Urunana openly
addresses all topics related to sexual and reproductive health,
encouraging discussions around issues considered taboos in the
region. Urunana is produced and performed by Health Unlimited Well
Women Media Project.
