Double triumph at RTS Awards for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland has scooped prestigious Royal Television Society (RTS) awards for two acclaimed factual programmes.

The Science and Natural History Award went to Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives - Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Four, produced by Louise Lockwood and Andrew Thompson; and the Nations and Regions Programme Award went to Boys Behind Bars - Friel Kean Films for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Scotland.

In addition, Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives has been nominated for a British Academy Television Award in the Single Documentary category, which will be announced on Sunday 20 April.

Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives followed the lead singer of US rock band Eels, Mark Oliver Everett, as he travelled across the United States to learn about the father he never knew - quantum physicist Hugh Everett III.
