New appointments announced for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ London Factual

Keith Scholey, Controller, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Factual, announced today the appointment of 14 Executive Producers for London Factual.

Μύ

The new posts have been created as part of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Creative Future plan, announced by Director-General Mark Thompson last month, which sees London Factual move from five studios to one single department.

Μύ

Keith Scholey says: "We have built a remarkably strong management team to lead creativity and production across the base.

Μύ

"These appointments represent some of the greatest factual programme-makers in the industry with national and international reputations in their field and will make London Factual not just the biggest, but also the most varied and creative production base in the world."

Μύ

Reporting to Karen O'Connor, Head of London Factual, the Executive Producers will provide the creative lead ensuring ideas generation and quality output is at the heart of Visions Productions.

Μύ

Karen O'Connor says: "I'm really looking forward to working with such a high calibre team of talent and experience. I'm sure that London Factual, working with the new in-house commissioning structure, will be a brilliant partnership leading to even greater success."

Μύ

As key members of the London management team, they will play a full role in the leadership of the department, contributing to strategic direction, business planning and crucially building a vibrant production talent base.
