Strictly Come Sundays

Strictly Come Dancing – the results show moves to Sunday evenings

Μύ

The Strictly Come Dancing results show will transmit on Sundays with a brand new 45-minute programme on
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One.

Μύ

With a strong appetite for good entertaining family viewing on Sunday evenings, Strictly Come Dancing provides the perfect end to the weekend and a chance for all the family to find out who survives to train for another week and who is hanging up their dance shoes for good.

Μύ

The new extended show – which will be an extra 15 minutes long – will be packed with more Strictly goodies include more behind–the–scenes footage, music performances and, most importantly, more dancing.

Μύ

In a change to the format, the judges will make the final decision on who will leave the competition on Sundays. When the programme closes on Saturday night viewers will continue to vote for their favourite couple for one hour following the end of the programme. The phone lines will then close and the votes will be counted and verified.

Μύ

When the show returns on Sunday evening the results will be announced with the viewers' vote and the judges' scores combining to save the couples. The bottom two couples will then face a dance–off leaving the judges to decide – based solely on that performance alone – who should stay and who should go.

Μύ

If the judges' vote is split 50/50 then head judge Len Goodman will have the deciding vote on who should be saved.

Μύ

In the final week the viewers will decide who will be crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion 2007.

Μύ

The new series of Strictly Come Dancing starts on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One on Saturday 6 October 2007 with the first results show on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One on Sunday 7 October.

Μύ

Strictly Come Dancing is commissioned by Peter Fincham, Controller Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One, and Elaine Bedell, Controller Entertainment Commissioning.
