Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ appoints new Blue Peter Editor

Richard Deverell, Controller, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Children's, today announced Tim Levell as the new Editor of Blue Peter.

Tim, currently acting editor of the programme, said: "There is no programme in the world quite like Blue Peter – it holds such a special place in the nation's heart.

Tim was previously Editor of Newsround where he launched the Newsround website and has worked for both Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ News and Sky News. He began his career as a local radio reporter.

Sinead Rocks, the current acting Editor of Newsround, was today confirmed permanently in that role.
