Team Arlene rocks on but Daniele's DanceX dream is over

Tonight on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One's DanceX the public vote forced Bruno to pick one of his team to leave the
competition for the second week in a row.
Μύ
Having watched each team dance, sing, and sing and dance, to rock or rock
'n' roll, the voting public decided that, this evening, Arlene's team was
the best.
Μύ
This left Bruno to pick the two contestants he considered to be the
weakest performers in his group to compete directly against each other
for the chance to stay in the competition.
Μύ
Bruno chose Daniele and Claire, who then had to sing and dance one more
time for Bruno's approval.
Μύ
After their performances he said: "Based on
what I saw, I feel that I need the voice so I have to axe you Daniele. I
regret it."
Μύ
Daniele said after his eviction: "Thank you so much. I've really enjoyed
this experience – it's not the end. I've had so much good publicity, it
can't be the end."

He said in a message to his grandad: "I'm lost for words. I love you."
Μύ
The 12 remaining hopefuls go on to perform in their groups next week, to
prove to the nation that they can be the best all-singing all-dancing
group.

Arlene on her group's dance: "It was fantastic. Lifts, throws, but have
to say I am blessed – Kalvin and Ife are rock and roll champions.
Ashley's choreography brought it bang up to date."

Arlene on her group's song: "We went for alternative rock, really hard to
hold on to those harmonies and they were brilliant before but not
tonight. Nerves threw you. I want to say can't stop, won't stop, don't
stop but you needed to be better than that and guys, never ever let me
down, you should have been phenomenal. Redeem yourselves."

Arlene on her group's song and dance: "They're bringing the Eighties to a new
generation with a new style. Fabulous! Way above what I expected them to
do."

Bruno on his group's dance: "This is now, this is 2007, this is rock.
This is a band for today and I don't care what anyone says - they are all
winners."

Bruno on his group's song: "I am very proud. It is very, very hard to
sell a ballad as there are no tricks, just voices. We've taken a huge,
huge gamble in going this way to see that we can actually sustain a song,
and they've all done a great job. Rana, you've never sung before but
tonight you should be proud. You still have some work to do but you
proved to me that you can actually hold it."

Bruno on his group's song and dance: "What is incredible is I have two
great leading men – Marcquelle and Phoenix. Some of the steps got a
little loose but the energy! Marcquelle, the way you sell that song in
your vocals... You are a band. I don't know what else to say."
